Mario Hernandez

Accounting Manager

Mario Hernandez spent several years teaching Harvard University a thing or two. As a staff accountant at the school, his responsibilities included processing all accounts payable and providing ad hoc analyses of complex bookkeeping issues. He was even nominated for a Harvard Heroes Award – a prestigious accolade celebrating staff members who have done exceptional work for the university. Mario’s not just Ivy League smart, he’s experienced, too. With almost 15 years in key accounting positions for companies in a broad range of industries – from high tech to healthcare – he’s an accountant’s accountant. And now, in his role as Accounting Manager here at Kelly CPA, Mario is focused on ensuring that our clients can always count on the exceptional service that brought them to us in the first place. Mario describes himself as an accounting nerd who does account reconciliations for fun. We say he’s a valued colleague and a delightful person to spend time with. Once you meet him, we know you’ll agree. When Mario’s not lost in a reconciliation reverie, you’re likely to find him at the dog park with his puppy Truvy Magnolia (he’s obviously a Dolly Parton fan) or playing league-level kickball around North Texas.
