Brooks is an alumna of University of Texas at Austin and possesses a Bachelor of Architecture. She has worked for many architectural firms, including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and A. Epstein & Sons and Good, Fulton & Farrell Architects.
Having worked in architecture for 18 years, Allison Brooks is one of Dallas’ most prominent female architects. After having worked on projects in Chicago and Dallas, Brooks founded B2 Architecture + Design in 2007. Since then, she has helped create some of Dallas’ most luxurious living complexes.
“I started B2 to focus on architecture and interior design in multifamily markets,” says Brooks, adding that she specializes in “commercial projects focusing primarily on multifamily, senior living and student housing project types.”
With each of her projects, Brooks aims to create a beautiful life for her clients. As an architect, Brooks believes that helping my clients realize the best version of their vision is the most rewarding part of her job.
B2 has helped build creative spaces in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington and California. With each project, Brooks and her team are by the client’s side from architectural interior design, space-planning, furniture selection and/or procurement, allowing each space to be as unique as the client themselves.
Notable projects of Brooks’ and B2’s include Alexan Henderson, M-Line Tower, Alexan Summit, Alta Leftbank and Park District Residences. “[Park District] is a terrific project on the best site in Dallas,” Brooks says. “It is overlooking Klyde Warren Park adjacent to Uptown and the Museum District. Trammell Crow Company had an incredible vision focused on discerning residents with exquisite taste and healthy budgets.
By providing the highest end finishes and iconic furniture selections, along with a killer pool deck overlooking KWP, Park District is getting the highest rents in Dallas.”
